1. Who We Are
Interwhew is an AI-powered mock interview platform designed for software engineers who want to feel genuinely prepared for their next technical interview. We combine realistic interview conversations with live coding, follow-up questions, and structured feedback so that practice feels as close as possible to the real thing.
Instead of static question banks or one-off coding problems, Interwhew focuses on the full, end-to-end interview experience, from how you communicate your approach, to how you respond under pressure, to how you recover when you get stuck.
2. Our Experience
Interwhew is built by a small team of engineers and product managers with experience at FAANG companies and leading global finance firms. We have designed and run interview loops, built large-scale production systems, and sat on hiring committees that decide who passes the bar.
That background shapes everything we build: the types of questions we ask, how we structure follow-up prompts, and what “strong performance” actually looks like in a real hiring environment, not just on paper.
3. How We Design the Interview Experience
Our interview scenarios are inspired by real-world loops used at top technology companies and competitive finance firms. We focus on fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, system thinking, and communication - while making sure the conversation stays adaptive and human-like.
Under the hood, Interwhew uses modern AI models to simulate an interviewer who can ask clarifying questions, push on edge cases, and probe your tradeoffs. We continuously refine these experiences based on anonymized session data and user feedback, with the goal of making every practice session feel like time well spent.
